A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Midshipman Morgan McPeak is a member of the class of 2024 at the United States Naval Academy.  She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science (with honors) with a minor in German.

 

McPeak was a Deputy Director of Academics for the Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference in 2023, and she will serve as Chief of Staff for the 2024 conference.

​

McPeak’s area of interest is alliances, primarily NATO and the accession of new member states.  For her honors thesis, she is conducting a cost-benefit analysis of new member states joining the alliance, with a particular focus on Finland and Sweden.

​Midshipman McPeak is also a member of the Naval Academy’s varsity women’s Rugby team.
